Limited Time Offer (LTO) templates pair a promotional message with a built-in countdown timer that visibly ticks down to an expiration date. The native countdown UI creates urgency far more effectively than text alone — recipients see exactly how long they have left to act. LTO templates also support a Copy Code button, making them ideal for flash sales and time-bound discount campaigns.
Why use a Limited Time Offer?
Urgency drives action. WhatsApp's native expiration component is rendered in the chat itself, so recipients can't miss the deadline even if they don't open the message until later. The expiration timestamp is set at send time, so each recipient sees a deadline relative to when you intended.
LTO is the only template type that combines countdown UI with copy-code redemption in a single message — the closest alternative is sending two separate messages, which doubles your conversation cost and halves urgency.
